Australian Repossession Services and John Maroun Mercantile Agency commenced trading in 1989. John Maroun (Managing Director) originally commenced operations as a sole agent, servicing the Sydney Metropolitan region. John's reputation for prompt and effective repossessions and collections soon spread. Over time and through a natural progression of events, the agency evolved into a truly National repossession agency, with a vast network of professional agents servicing both metro and regional areas of all States of Australia.

John Maroun still personally maintains a hands-on approach to the business and spends most of his time "on the road" dealing directly with both clients and debtors alike. With 26 years experience in the finance, collection & repossession industry, John is well equipped to deal with any of those tricky situations that are a natural consequence of the repossession profession.

Australian Repossession Services are strictly limited to three key objectives:

Recovery of arrears owing on encumbered vehicles
Repossession of encumbered vehicles
Location of debtors and their encumbered vehicles - otherwise known as skip tracing

All agents engaged by Australian Repossession Services are experienced, professional & fully conversant with all relevant State & Territory legislation as it applies to Consumer and non-regulated contracts.
